The rug you want cleaned may be a practical synthetic living-room piece, a wool rug with embedded grit or a hand-knotted rug you have owned for years. Each needs an assessment of the material, construction and condition rather than a standard treatment chosen by appearance alone.
Photographs of the whole rug, the reverse and any label help us understand the enquiry. Point out worn edges, loose fringes, colour changes or a repair even if those are not the reason you are booking.
Deal with spots carefully before collection
Blot a fresh spill gently with a clean absorbent cloth and contact us for advice about the rug and substance involved. Avoid rubbing hard, soaking the area or combining household products. A small visible mark can have a larger affected area underneath.
If you have already treated it, tell us exactly what was used. This is useful information, not a reason for embarrassment: residues and earlier treatments can influence the next step.
Understand what professional cleaning can improve
We assess general soil, dullness, odour and individual stains, then choose a suitable approach and discuss limitations. Cleaning can remove soil, but it cannot rebuild worn pile or restore colour lost through fading or bleaching.
